Lone Star Rodeo was created in Marfa, Texas, by Preston Fowlkes, Sr., and moved the sport of rodeo to the fans in the Southeast. Lone Star Rodeo Company resides in Crofton, KY, on their 660-acre ranch. Preston Fowlkes, Jr has carried the family tradition of top-notch stock and competition, pageantry, and family entertainment for the past 40 years. The family commitment continues into the next generation, with the entire family working side by side. Lone Star Rodeo produces over 40 events per year. The Lone Star Rodeo Company travels in thirteen states, from the Limestone County Sheriff’s Arena in Athens, AL, to the Chesapeake Bay in Salisbury, Maryland. Not to mention the beautiful Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia, and the Calsonic Arena on the Celebration grounds in Shelbyville, TN.
